SHIPPING & DELIVERY
-At this time, A Gifted Story ships only to addresses located within the 48 contiguous United States. All of orders are shipped insured, handled by Couriers and sometimes require a signature upon delivery, therefore, we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes.
- Orders shipped to California, Washington, Colorado, and Florida may incur an additional $15 shipping charge due to the high cost of shipping to those states. Additional states may have an additional cost, as well. If so we will contact the client request additional shipping fees.
PROCESSING TIME
- It will take 2-3 business days to process your order. We ship Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and holidays. We cannot guarantee Saturday delivery. You will receive a confirmation e-mail with the tracking link once your order ships which can take up to 48 hours to update. If you do not see your shipping confirmation email in your inbox, please double check your junk/spam or promotions folder. We cannot be held accountable for any delays caused by the carrier.
- Orders placed before 12pm EST, Monday through Friday will be shipped within 1-3 business days when products are in stock. Orders received on Friday after 12pm on Sunday will be processed on the following Monday. Shipping time frames listed on checkout page are estimated arrival dates and not guaranteed.
- Most purchases are shipped by UPS within 10-14 days and will arrive within 2-3 weeks of order being placed.
- Orders that are in stock are shipped from our location via USPS, UPS or FED EX and will arrive within 7 business days of receipt of your order.
- Packages are delivered to the of the address provided and a signature is required upon delivery. Please note - if inaccurate or incomplete addresses are provided, or if there are unverified details with your order, it may delay processing by an additional 1-2 business days. We encourage all customers to thoroughly review their shipping and billing information prior to checking out to ensure any possible delays are avoided.
WRONG ADDRESS DISCLAIMER
- It is the responsibility of the buyer to make sure that she or he enters the shipping address correctly. We do our best to speed up processing and shipping times, hence there is a very small time gap to cancel/change your order or to change the address of the order. If you decide to cancel your order or change your shipping address, please write to us at orders@agiftedstory.com as soon as you place your order. We will do our best to make the change, however we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so. You will be responsible for all additional shipping charges.
OVERSIZED ITEMS
- Oversized & heavy items may require additional charges due to packaging & crating being required. Please check the product description for details before ordering.
- A courier service may be recommended for oversized items being delivered to NY, NJ or CT. Curbside or doorstep delivery may be an additional charge (see product details). Gifted Story will contact the client if this is a better option and if there are additional charges on shipping. If you have any questions, please email us at orders@agiftedstory.com
TRACKING YOUR ORDER
- Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email containing confirmation of your order, shipping information, and your tracking number. You can also email us at orders@agiftedstory.com if you have any questions.
DAMAGE IN SHIPPING
-Check your order immediately upon receipt. If the product is damaged from handling, be sure to note this on the freight bill/ delivery ticket of the driver/ courier. If you notice any damage to the merchandise and the driver has already left, keep all of packaging materials and email us at orders@agiftedstory.com so we can rectify the matter quickly.
- Please report the damage within 48 hours to our email orders@agiftedstory.com. We advise you to take photos of the damaged item, the box the and the packaging item they were shipped in. We need the images in order to notify the shipping company and file the necessary damage claims. After the claim is presented to the shipping company, we will arrange to have damaged items and their packaging inspected, returned and replaced.
MISSING OR LOST PACKAGE
- In order to be considered lost, a package must be undelivered 24 hours after the expected delivery date and time. A report cannot be made until then. If your package is not received in accordance with the expected delivery date provided by the shipper (use your tracking number to follow the transit status of your parcel and expected delivery date at UPS website. Please notify us at orders@agiftedstory.com within 48 hours and we will contact the carrier to trace your parcel or file for a claim.
WEATHER DELAYS
- A Gifted story, UPS, FED EX and USPS CANNOT guarantee timely package delivery when the delays are caused by weather conditions and A Gifted Story will not be responsible for costs associated with these delays.
